We're proud of our state-of-the-art facility
It took many years of careful planning and work to create our marina. We chose the perfect spot to carve a small inlet into our farmland, then drove piles deep into the riverbed before finally floating a berthing pontoon into position.
When mooring a valuable cruiser you have to be sure the berth is of the highest standard. So we developed Killynick Marina to the same exacting specification as used by Waterways Ireland.
Our berthing fees are simply £27/ft for the year
You have access to your boat via a galvanised walkway with safety handrails. This leads out to a floating jetty constructed of anti-slip GRC (Glass Reinforced Concrete) decking where lifebuoys are installed, and automatic lighting helps ensure your safety when using the jetty at night.
The jetty is a full ninety metres in length and for comfort and convenience mains water and electricity power points are available for all of our clients. As you would expect, regular checks are performed to ensure that all features are maintained in good working order, as safety and reliability are of the utmost importance.
The walkway is reached by way of a shore path, specially created in gravel and timber, which leads down from the main slipway and parking area. The slipway itself is set well in off the main river flow and is very large. It can easily cope with vessels of up to 30 tonnes (15m long and 5m wide). And when you launch your cruiser at the start of the season, you can simply leave your trailer closeby in our secure parking area, for the duration of your stay with us.
Our reception building contains shower and toilet facilities for use by berth holders and overnight guests.
Because Lough Erne bye-laws only allow berthing at a public jetty for a maximum period of 48 hours, it's good to know that at Killynick Marina you can be assured of a secure private berth for as long as you like, for just £27 per foot for the year!
Get the season off to a perfect start and launch your cruiser at Killynick Marina - then wander north to meander around Lough Erne, or set a course south to explore the mighty Shannon.
Planning a day trip or a weekend on the water? If you're only here for a day or two, or you're just passing through the Woodford River, it's easy to book a short mooring a Killynick Marina. We look forward to welcoming you!
Return to your own berth whenever you want, and when the season winds down simply tie up for the winter or lift your boat for a good scrub, a bit of maintenance and then safe winter storage. It couldn't be simpler!
Ideal for fishing or simply exploring the maze of surrounding waterways. Holds up to five adults. Full instruction and life jackets provided. £110 per day (includes fuel). Phone or email to book.
Killynick Marina is a family business - from bookings and mooring assistance to marina management and maintenance.
